Architectural Design Freedom

Suntuitive Dynamic Glass technology works using a sun-responsive, thermochromic interlayer, making the rest of the insulated glass unit highly customizable. In addition, architects and designers can utilize more glass in building designs without the compromise of higher heat loads. It’s as simple as that- no strings (or wires) attached!

With dynamic glass, architects now have the architectural design freedom to design with more glass than ever before – allowing more daylight to enter the building without the heat load penalty that comes with conventional glass. And since Suntuitive uses no wires or controls it adds ease of installation, equal to conventional glass, to all the advantages dynamic glass already has. True design freedom without adding complications or risk to the construction process!

While allowing for more glass and daylight in buildings, Suntuitive Dynamic Glass also gives architectural design freedom when it comes to:

Suntuitive works with all of the major tinted glass products available on the market today including Gray (medium and dark), Blue, Green (light and dark) and Bronze. If you have a question on a specific color or style that you want to utilize with Suntuitive contact us for more information.

Maximum width is 65”/ 1651mm.   There is no formal limit on the height available with Suntuitive.  The production of the Suntuitive interlayer makes it available for as tall as you can design, however the fabrication of the product into IGU’s is dependent on the capabilities of the fabrication partner.  If you have a question on sizes or have a jumbo or oversize project, please contact us for more information & details.

Suntuitive combined with the best of Low-E options makes the product perform at its highest levels.  Suntuitive can be paired with all styles of Low-E including Pyrolitic (also known as “Hard Coat”) and Magnetron Sputter Vacuum Deposition  (MSVD) high-performance coatings (also known as “Soft Coats” or Double Silver, and Triple Silver).

One of the key advantages that Suntuitive Dynamic Glass offers is the ability to be used in most pattern cut applications.  Because there are no wires or special coatings, any out of square or shaped IGU that can be applied to a standard unit can also be utilized here.  Popular patterns include Trapezoids, Parallelograms, and Radius Tops.

Different applications can call for different thicknesses of Suntuitive Dynamic Glass.  It is available in monolithic (single lite) pieces as well as typical double pane and triple pane IGU’s.

Perfect for New Construction or Retrofit

Because Suntuitive Dynamic Glass is made to order and doesn’t require any wiring or control system, it can easily be adapted to fit existing building facades, making it an ideal product for retrofit projects. Suntuitive helps the performance of existing buildings meet 21st century expectations.

Use in Operable Windows and Doors

The simple installation, without any wires, and ease of use enable Suntuitive to be installed wherever standard glass would normally be used, including operable windows and doors.

Neutral Apperance

Suntuitive’s glass makeup is neutral grey in appearance and will maintain the integrity of any building’s design with even tinting and true façade uniformity.  The neutral grey also forms an excellent basis to be combined with other glass tint colors. Since Suntuitive Dynamic Glass works in harmony with direct sunlight and offers imperceptible transition within the tinting rang, the glass allows the focus to remain on the architectural design instead of making the glass a focal point.

Strategic Placement

Strategic placement allows Suntuitive to be used on elevations experiencing the most sunlight, while conventional glass can be used on other elevations. This allows for maximal ROI and at the same time retains a uniform look of the building. Suntuitive Dynamic Glass allows you to only use Dynamic Glass where its properties will actually be used and save cost on the remaining areas!
