Optimal Solar Heat Gain Control
Suntuitive Dynamic Glass adapts to the intensity of the sunlight, protecting the interior from too much heat with its dynamic Solar Heat Gain range.
Solar Control
One of the major benefits of Suntuitive Dynamic Glass is its unique ability to control how much solar energy is let into a building. Unlike conventional glass, it can respond to outside conditions and decrease a building’s heat load, keeping building occupants comfortable. Suntuitive prevents up to 90% of solar heat from entering the building (e.g. Solar Heat Gain Coefficient of 0.10). Now that is Solar Heat Gain Control!
U-Value
Not only does Suntuitive work to keep excess heat out, our glass is also highly efficient when it comes to U-values to prevent heat loss. Because Suntuitive IGU’s are highly customizable, almost any glass make-up can be specified to construct a high efficient IGU. Architects can enjoy design freedom and customize U-value.
Energy Savings
Solar Heat Gain Control also leads to energy savings, which means the HVAC system for a building can be smaller. This leads to additional cost-savings and more usable space within the building.
Custom Low-E
In order to create high-efficiency glass coatings with low emissivity, low-e, are used. These coatings, even thinner than a human hair, are used to reflect long-wave infrared energy. Low-e works with the Suntuitive interlayer to prevent excessive solar heat from entering a space. Since IGUs with Suntuitive technology are always custom-made these can be specified with your choice of low-e and give you maximum architectural design freedom.
